Couch to 5k
Mondays - June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 July 7, 14, 21, 28
5:00-6:00 PM @ CRC Wellness Center
Couch to 5k is meant for beginning walkers and runners - the program focuses on a scheduled progression of running to safely and effectively prepare you to successfully finish a 5k distance (3.1 miles). Proper running technique, strength training, and stretching will be covered during this program, led by Matt Moberg. A great place to start for those with a new or growing interest in running!

Senior Barre Strength
Tuesdays - June 3, 10, 17, 24 July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 August 5, 12, 19, 26
9:45-10:30 AM @ CRC Wellness Center Fitness Classroom
During this class, participants will be mostly standing at the barre utilizing tubing/bands, while incorporating balance and strength. Various methods of exercises will be used including squats, lunges, calf raises, and core exercises using ballet-inspired moves/ themes. This class is a great next step for those who have been taking Mature Mobility (not required), led by Matt Moberg.

Become leaner, stronger, and more confident in any weight room. This class will help you build muscle and strength, while establishing a new lifting routine. Women & Weightlifting is focused on participants ages 15 and up, led by Paige Kisley.

If you’re struggling with Parkinson’s disease or know someone who is, it’s helpful to know where to find support on the journey. Learn about the causes and symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, and how treatments work, as well as therapeutic activities to do at home.

Mitchell County Public Health will be administering blood pressure checks in the CRC Wellness Center Lobby once a month. Everyone is invited to these FREE monthly checks!

CRC Bingo!
Bingo will resume in the Winter months.
*Free event! Monetary or prize donations are greatly appreciated.
Get ready to play some Bingo! Come for a morning of socialization, snacks, and Bingo. This is a free event, pre-registration is strongly encouraged for planning purposes - those who pre-register will be entered in a drawing for a door prize!
Light refreshments will be provided.
Before Bingo, an educational topic will be discussed, presented by various local community members.
We are looking for local businesses or individual sponsors to sponsor the upcoming Bingo events. Whether this is through a monetary donation, prize donations, or providing a “celebrity” Bingo caller - please contact us for more info!

CRC 100 Mile Walk/Run Club
Try this challenge to improve your heart health, maintain healthy weight and to meet new friends!
Each time you walk or run at the CRC, simply record your mileage on the record card at the Welcome Desk. You can work out at your own pace and once you reach 100 miles, you will earn a CRC tshirt.
Anyone 7th grade and up can participate.
