Auditorium
Residents of Mitchell County and beyond will enjoy performances from a variety of genres at our CRC Krapek Family Fine Arts Center, including local and distant artists and musicians who bring the auditorium to life with their talents, passions, and stories.
The Cedar River Complex Auditorium offers artists, musicians, and performers of all varieties, a venue to bring their acts to life.

There are seven wheelchair locations and removable seats to accommodate the orchestra pit.
- Spacious stage area is convenient for building props/backdrops that are placed on the 40’x67’ stage
- Sixteen line sets with a fly space 47’ tall are in place for floating backdrops
- Theatrical lighting and sound reinforcement in the sound and lights booth
- Integrated video projection
- Upper and lower lobby areas
- Green Room available for makeup/prep
- Private changing areas and restrooms for performers
- Large conference room for meetings, parties, and events
Cedar Summerstock Theater - 2025 Season
The Lion King Jr.
Date Range: June 6th-8th
CST’s Young Actor’s Theatre Company opens the 2025 season with Disney’s The Lion King Jr. Featuring talented young actors, this one-hour musical brings your favorite songs to life with stunning costumes, choreography, and lights. A spectacular family show you won’t want to miss!


Big Fish
Date Range: June 19th-29th
Based on Tim Burton’s award-winning film, Big Fish follows Edward Bloom’s larger-than-life adventures with mermaids, witches, and giants while uncovering the touching story of how he met his wife. This heartwarming Bluegrass Southern musical is perfect for audiences 8 and up!
Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story
Date Range: July 3rd-13th
Follow the story of Buddy Holly’s rise to fame in the 1950s. From Lubbock, Texas to that fateful night near Clear Lake, Iowa in 1959. The show will feature scenes from his historic performance at the Apollo Theater, The Crickets, The Big Bopper, Ritchie Valens, and the love of his life, Maria Elena.


Cinderella
Date Range: July 17th-27th
This Rogers & Hammerstein classic was originally made for TV in 1957, which featured Julie Andrews as Cinderella. In 2013, this classic show was adapted for the stage and made its way to Broadway. Cinderella will transform from rags to a beautiful gown with a touch of a Fairy Godmother’s wand!

Street Corner Symphony

Street Corner Symphony is a Nashville-based male a cappella ensemble that was a runner-up on NBC’s Sing Off in 2010. Street Corner Symphony moves seamlessly between most styles of music, feeling at home in all of them. Their repertoire covers a wide range, from gospel to rock and pop, appealing to the young and old alike.
The Secret Agents

The Secret Agents take you on a thrilling high-speed pursuit through ’60s Jazz, Cinema, Pop, Rock, and R&B with a multi-talented vocalist and 5-piece band based out of LA. The Secret Agents capture the sound of 1960s music that makes whatever you’re doing simply cooler.


Cedar Valley Big Band

3:00 PM at the CRC Krapek Family Fine Arts Center
This 20-piece band has been one of the resources of the Cedar Valley for the past 30 years, playing, preserving, and celebrating the music of Basie, Ellington, and others who inspired people around the world during a difficult time in history. The Cedar Valley Big Band is strictly a philanthropic group that donates proceeds from their performances to area schools to promote jazz studies. Step back in time, enjoy the music, and dance up a storm with Cedar Valley Big Band.
The French Family Band
Friday, March 6th (2025)
7:00 PM at the CRC Krapek Family Fine Arts Center
Nashville-based but hailing from Australia/New Zealand, The French Family Band features Stuie & Camille French on guitars/vocals, and son Sonny on guitars/vocals. Taking inspiration from the country and western swing icons of decades past, one can hear echoes of Chet Atkins, Anne Murray, and Merle Haggard in the covers and originals they perform. The band has been honored to appear on stage at the Grand Ole Opry several times.


CeCe Teneal - Divas of Soul
