CRC Foundation

The mission of the CRC Foundation is to enhance, sustain, and enrich the activities, programs, and capital improvements of the Cedar River Complex for our communities and their future generations.

One of the Foundation's current projects includes providing the financial means for special swim programs to take place at the CRC Wellness Center. Several free swim days and reduced rates resulted in the widening of the CRC's service areas.

The CRC Foundation accepts grant applications from non-profit organizations seeking financial assistance for utilization of CRC facilities for programs, events and other endeavors that enhance and enrich the lives and experiences in the communities we serve.

If your organization would like to apply to the CRC Foundation for financial assistance for utilization of CRC facilities, please complete the application and mail it to:

2016 Live Healthy Iowa 5K and Kids' 1K
The Cedar River Complex was one of sixteen sites accepted to host the 2016 Live Healthy Iowa 5K and Kids' 1K Saturday, April 9, 2016. There were over 50 participants- youth ranging in ages from 2 to 12 years old for the 1K, including adults for the 5K. Because of a CRC Foundation grant, organizers of the event were able to offer chip timing and post-race refreshments.
The CRC Foundation has made several free swim events possible at the Cedar River Complex.
