Time is a precious commodity. Each day, every person is given the same amount of time: 24 hours. We cannot save it, store it, loan it or invest it. We have to use it. We cannot manage time, but we can manage the things that take up our time.
Time is perishable:
it cannot be saved for later use.
Time is measurable:
everyone gets the same amount.
Time is irreplaceable:
we never make back time once it is gone.
Time is a priority:
we have enough time for anything in the world, so long as it is a priority.
Being a part of the CRC team is making a difference in our community. Our community includes all of North Iowa, Mitchell County, Osage, St. Ansgar, Riceville, Stacyville, as well as the community within our personal lives and in the lives of the future families that will appreciate and benefit from all of our efforts. That is making good use of our time.
Would you be interested in sharing some of your time? If your answer is yes, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator by visiting the CRC Wellness Center. We look forward to sharing time with you!
“The purpose of life is not to be happy-but to matter, to be productive, to be useful, to have it make some difference that you have lived at all.”
